TEST & TAG
Testing and tagging gives you the peace of mind that your workforce is using equipment that is safe from the dangers of electrical faults. Being aware of these hazards allows you to take action and ensure that no one person is at risk while using electrical equipment.
EQUIPMENT THAT SHOULD BE TESTED
Any electrical equipment that is connected to the electrical supply by a flexible cord and/or connecting device, including RCDs, should be tested using a PAT Tester. We carry out these tests in accordance with (AS/NZ 3760:2010) which meets Work Safe compliance criteria.
Any equipment or cords needing repair can be carried out by our electricians on call.

STATE OF THE ART TESTING EQUIPMENT
We use a state of the art PAT (Portable Appliance Tester) to ensure all necessary tests can be carried out and that the results are accurate.
UNIQUE QR CODES
All electrical assets are tested and tagged with an identifiable QR (Quick Response) code for continual identification purposes.
All data collected, including location and test results, will be kept in our Asset Register database and GE can present all data in both electronic and print format.
We carry out testing at your workplace at a time to suit you, so your business activity can continue with a minimum of disruption.
We provide a reminder service for different appliances and environments, so you won’t lose track of your testing and tagging compliance requirements.
WHAT IT COSTS
We charge by the tag not by the hour. Once we have your assets and their QR code in our database, you’ll know exactly how much to budget for testing and tagging.
